Acceptable Use Policy
This policy is part of the Terms of Use. It applies to everything you upload, link, write or display with Kids Display ("Content") and to how you use the service.
1. Prohibited content
Do not upload, link or display:
- anything illegal;
- child sexual abuse material, or any sexualization of minors. We report this to NCMEC and law enforcement as the law requires;
- sexually explicit or pornographic material;
- non-consensual intimate images;
- graphic violence or gore;
- content that harasses or threatens people, or promotes violence against them;
- content that infringes copyright, trademark or privacy rights, or that you do not have a license to display;
- malware or phishing links.
2. Content suited to the audience
Displays are often shown to children. The Organization is responsible for making sure its Content is appropriate for the rooms where it is shown.
3. People's images and information
- Upload images or names of children, or other personal information, only with the consents your Organization's policies and the law require.
- Do not upload sensitive personal data, such as medical or custody information, contact details, attendance lists or check-in codes, unless you have a clear need and the right to do so.
4. Misuse of the service
Do not:
- probe, scan or attack the service, or get around its security or limits;
- share controller links or credentials publicly;
- scrape the service, resell it, or use it as general file hosting or a public file-sharing service.
5. Enforcement
We may remove or disable Content and suspend or end accounts for violations, and we may preserve records and report to authorities where the law requires. Our access to Content for this purpose is logged. We do not have to give notice first, and we may decline to say more when child safety or an investigation is involved.
6. Reporting
Report violations using the report form. For copyright claims see the Copyright (DMCA) Policy. If a child is in immediate danger, call 911. Child sexual exploitation can also be reported to the NCMEC CyberTipline at report.cybertip.org.
